As a contractor certified by GAF, the Community Contractor Program offers a a unique opportunity to differentiate your business while supporting your community.

Learn about GAF’s Community Contractor programs

We offer three programs to choose from - Habitat for Humanity, Affordable Reroof, and Roofs for Heroes.

Habitat for Humanity Program

By partnering with your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate to install GAF roofs for decent and affordable homes, you’re able to show your community that you are invested in the well-being of your neighbors.

How it Works

Partner with Habitat on a local project

Habitat for Humanity has over 1,500 US affiliates that contractors can work with to help provide safe, affordable housing.

You donate time and we donate materials

GAF will reimburse you for the cost of eligible GAF products and waive the registration fee for a System Plus Limited Warranty.

Submit a reimbursement form

Submit the form within 90 days of completing a qualifying roofing project to receive reimbursement in the form of a material credit.

Affordable Reroof and Roofs for Heroes Program

Work alongside a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in our Affordable Reroof Program* to support a roofing project of your choice or the Roofs for Heroes Program* to provide a community hero with a roof repair, rehab, or replacement, and GAF will donate shingles to the project.

How it works

Identify a roofing project

Identify the project you want to partner on with your local nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and determine the roofing needs for the project.

Prior to starting the project, work with your local TM to identify your shingle needs.

Work with your local TM to submit a GAF Grant application for the shingles needed for the project
