Alex Liebman is responsible for developing GAF’s strategy, leading organic business development and implementing strategic projects. He also works closely with Standard Industries’ corporate development team to build GAF’s M&A program, diligence potential acquisitions, and ensure effective integration.
Alex joined GAF in August 2019 after spending 10 years with McKinsey, three of them as a Partner, where he counseled senior executives to create and implement growth strategies, better allocate capital, drive and scale operational transformations and improve organizational health. During his time with McKinsey, Alex spent seven years in Beijing, China and is fluent in Mandarin. Previously, Alex served as an Analyst with JL McGregor and Company in Beijing, China, and as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University. He holds MA and PhD degrees from Harvard University and a BA from Yale University.
